The forecast could go either way but I still think it's worth going. There's a good chance that any significant amounts of water will have dried off by this evening.

I agree. If there is any rain it's likely to be very short-lived and the rock will be drying rapidly with the warm air and the wind.

I'm still debating whether to go now as it's cold wet and windy here! I'm over an hours drive away so need to set off soon? Is it likely to still be on?

I'm almost certain that plenty of climbing will be had. I'll be there.

Looking at the latest rainfall radar, I think you guys should be lucky and it'll be dry by the time you get there.

I don't have transport and since no-one's offered a lift, I won't be able to join you.

Jodie - I presume you turned back on encountering the rain!?

John - the rest of us actually persevered! Unfortunately we weren't rewarded with it drying out much... :-/

Thanks to Andy for the lift!

Will - when you say you've ordered the weather for a given evening meet - please specify exactly what weather you've ordered! ;-)

It might have been a bit minging but I still enjoyed building and equalising some faux belays. Not to mention a good old chin wag in the pub after, excellent stuff. Here's hoping we get some actual Tuesday sunshine soon!

Thanks everyone for persevering with the weather and coming along. Sorry it was still a washout!

Despite that it looks like people still made the most of it and got some stuff done and learned some skill so it wasn't a total waste of time.
