It's beautiful Pembroke on August Bank Holiday!
The Rock Climbing paradise that is Pembroke awaits. No birdbans or firing, it's all open.
Who's up for it?
I'm looking for a partner for this one. Anyone up for teaming up for some HVS-E2 climbing?
Post below if you intend to attend.

Cheers

I'm hoping to come on this meet if there are people going I can team up to climb with, and would be interested in extending the trip to spend a couple of days climbing in North Pembroke as well.

I assume that the meet will be based at our usual campsite at Buckspool Farm?

Hi John,
I'd be keen to team up if you are still looking for a partner.
Dave.

Hi Dave.

That's excellent, we can make more detailed arrangements nearer to the time, but it's always good to partner up before going to Pembroke as it's a long way to go without knowing you definitely have a partner.

Cheers

I will be heading off on Friday and going down to Pembroke on Monday.
If anyone wants to eat in the pub on Saturday or Sunday let me know and I will book it.
I will keep my eye on this and look out for anyone who posts that they are coming.
I will try and bag the back left hand corner of the field.
See you there.

Cheers

Hi John

I'd be keen to eat in the pub one night if you are booking it and others are planning to go too. That steak there last time was fantastic!

I have teamed up to climb with Norbert for the weekend, and we are planning to travel down on the Wednesday evening, with a couple of nights camping in St Davids and climbing in North Pembrokeshire before heading to Buckspool on Friday evening. All subject to the weather being reasonably OK of course (although it's always dry on the Pembroke Coast :D )

Cath

The long range forecast for Pembrokeshire is currently looking excellent for the whole week from next Tuesday onwards 8)

Let's hope it stays that way. I feel like I've built up some karmic entitlement to some good weather from all the weekends rained off this summer...

Does anybody want to climb with me for this trip?

I'm giving Neil a lift, possibly setting off on Thursday afternoon (weather permitting). Returning on Monday evening.
There is room for another three passengers and kit in my van.

Neil is still looking for a climbing partner.

Have a good trip - hope the weather's benign - and that no-one ends up in the sea!

JR.

Hope everyone had a good day yesterday.

Thanks John for organising the great pub meal on Saturday.

I had a fantastic trip, made even better by extending it by two days to stay in North Pembrokeshire, where we found a brilliant campsite overlooking the sea and only 5 minutes walk from some 3* climbing.

And Sun Rock again!
