From May to October we have one or two camping meets per month to somewhere mountainous in the UK with walking, climbing and scrambling being the main activities undertaken by members. We also have regular walking and climbing meets on Saturdays or Sundays, often to the Peak District or the Yorkshire Dales. There are also occaisional hut meets during the summer months.

Attermire Scar and Catrigg Force from Settle (Walk)
Meet Leader: John Nightingale
Weather permitting this is a fantastic winter walk on good paths with the most surprising and amazing views of Attermire Scar, an absolute gem hidden above Settle. Being only 5 miles, this is a good family walk post-Christmas celebrations, or a good way to escape the family for a few hours!

Blackrock Cottage, Glencoe
Meet Leader: Karl Harrison

20th Jan 2019 Day Meet.
Mam Tor & Lose Hill from Castleton, Peak District (Walk)

Hopefully we won’t be shivering as we steeply ascend the glorious Mam Tor and take the undulating path over to Lose Hill of the great ridge from and back to the beautiful village of Castleton in this classic peak district ramble. This again is a shorter walk suitable for winter conditions of about 5 miles weather and access permitting and suitable for all levels of walker.

31st Mar 2019 Day Meet.
Boulsworth Hill from Wycoller, Colne, Lancashire (Walk)
Meet Leader: TBC
A more strenuous walk than what we will have been used to over the winter, however not really due to height gain but more because of the fact you will definitely want gaiters! An entertaining walk though of about 9 miles taking in Lad Law (Boulsworth Hill). Lovely views over to Pendle Hill from the summit. Great for those who love a good rambling trudge over unadulterated wild moor.
